Shaun was granted an honorary knighhood by Notts Racing owners in 2014 following an amazing campaign in which the stable amassed 26 winners and anyone betting on the Pinewood runners up and until August 1st would have made £31.95 profit to a £1 stake.
In the process the stable landed landed 3 doubles ( Two of them strongly advised to Notts Racing Owners)
In May 2014 Pinewood launced a 3 day raid on Scotland and were rewarded with 3 winners and 4 places from 7 runners.
Our main man started training in 2009 and is assisted by his wife Debbie and their team of dedicated staff started working with thoroughbreds at the age of 13 for his late uncle "Jimmy Harris". He then went on to ride as an apprentice and conditional jockey for Bill Clay, Alan Jarvis, and Jeremy Glover.
Four years ago he decided to buy Pinewood Stables - this being the location where he first met his wife Debbie, and also where he was responsible for the preparation of 4 winners of the Cambridgeshire while training with "Jeremy Glover”.
Shaun now has around 24 horses in his string and has already acheived 26 winners this year (2014)
In June 2013 Shaun and Nottinghamshire Racing were hosts to over 300 friends and owners at a special meeting at Southwell Races when together with some of their loyal owners they sponsored the entire race card.
